Privacy Policy
Creable ("we," "us," or "our") values the privacy of individuals who use our creator analytics platform at creable.app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information from or about users of our Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. Beyond this Privacy Policy, your use of the Service is also subject to our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. This is used to identify your account and communicate with you about the Service.
Platform Data via OAuth
When you connect your social media accounts (YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram), we access the following data through each platform's official API with your explicit authorization:
- Public profile information (username, profile picture, bio)
- Video and post metadata (titles, descriptions, publish dates, thumbnails)
- Analytics and performance metrics (views, likes, shares, engagement rates)
- Comments on your content
- OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to keep the connection working
We only access data that you explicitly authorize through each platform's OAuth consent flow. You can revoke access at any time through the platform's own settings, or by emailing us to revoke and delete the access tokens we hold.
Usage Data
We collect basic information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, and the dates and times of your visits. This helps us understand how the Service is used and improve it.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, improve, and enhance our Service
- Provide analytics dashboards showing your content performance across platforms
- Automatically group your content into series across platforms
- Generate AI-powered insights about your content performance, audience sentiment, and trends
- Understand and analyze how you use our Service and develop new features and functionality
- Communicate with you, provide updates, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support
- Find and prevent fraud, and respond to trust and safety issues
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes
3. Instagram Data Usage
We access Instagram data through the Instagram Graph API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Specifically, we access:
- Your Instagram Business or Creator account profile information
- Media metadata (captions, timestamps, media type, permalink)
- Media insights and analytics (impressions, reach, engagement)
- Comments on your media
We do not access your followers' personal data, private or direct messages, data from accounts you do not own, or any data beyond what you explicitly authorize through the Instagram OAuth consent screen.
Instagram data is used solely to provide you with analytics, series grouping, and AI-generated insights about your own content. We do not use Instagram data for advertising, selling to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service to you.
4. Google and YouTube Data Usage
When you connect a YouTube account, Creable uses Google's official APIs to access only the YouTube data needed to provide the Service to you. This may include your YouTube channel identifier, video metadata, video performance analytics, comments on your videos, and available caption or transcript data for your videos. We also store OAuth access and refresh tokens so we can refresh your connection and continue providing the Service until you revoke access or request deletion.
We use YouTube data to provide user-facing Creable features such as dashboards, per-video analytics, audience comment insights, series grouping, transcript and tone insights, and creator recommendations. We do not use YouTube data to publish videos, edit your channel, or take public action on your behalf.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising, transfer it to data brokers, or use it to determine creditworthiness. We do not use or transfer Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Where AI service providers process YouTube-derived data for Creable, that processing is limited to generating the user-facing analytics and creative-assistant features you request in the Service.
Creable's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Vendors and service providers: We may share information with vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of our Service, including cloud infrastructure providers and AI service providers that provide backend support for our Service.
- As required by law: We may access, preserve, and disclose your information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, or to protect your, our, or others' rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers: We may disclose and transfer your information in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company, or we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets.
- With your consent: We may also share information with your permission.
6. Security
We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, as our Service is hosted electronically, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. When you request deletion, we take measures to delete your information or keep it in a form that does not permit identifying you when this information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it, unless we are required by law to keep this information for a longer period.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@creable.app; we action verified requests within 30 days. Deletion removes your stored analytics and generated insights and revokes and deletes the OAuth access tokens we hold for your connected platforms. You can also revoke our access at any time directly in each platform's own settings (for example, your Google, Meta, or TikTok account security settings); previously collected analytics is retained until you request full account deletion.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Disconnect: Revoke our access to any connected platform at any time through that platform's own settings, or by emailing us to revoke and delete the access tokens we hold.
- Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Withdraw consent: You may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us regarding the processing of your information at any time. We will apply your preferences going forward, and this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before you withdrew your consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@creable.app. Before fulfilling your request, we may ask you to provide reasonable information to verify your identity.
9. Third-Party Services
Our Service may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit.
10. Children's Privacy
